About the Role

The GLODOCS Coordinator is an integral part of Latham’s GLODOCS team. This role will be responsible for coordinating department workflow, performing intake of document production work, clarifying instructions, negotiating deadlines, communicating status of jobs, maintaining the ServiceNow GLODOCS log, distributing work to Analysts, Specialists, and Proofreaders, and assuring that deadlines are met, while processing and distributing all document requests coming into the GLODOCS center and providing necessary clarification as needed. This role will be located in either our Los Angeles or New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. 

 

Please also note, the schedule for this role will be Tuesday - Friday, 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm ET / 9:30 am - 6:00 pm PT and Saturday, 11:00 am - 7:00 pm ET / 7:30 am - 4:00 pm PT.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

 

  • Managing emails received in the GLODOCS mailbox and moving requests to appropriate Outlook folders
  • Estimating job duration and difficulty and negotiating deadlines for projects to assure that agreed-upon deadlines are achievable
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of assignments and responding to inquiries from customers
  • Creating, revising, formatting, and maintaining document files at an advanced level in core applications such as, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Acrobat
  • Communicating with GLODOCS staff to ensure that they are on track to meet their deadlines

 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

 

  • Demonstrate the ability to understand intricacies of documents and work requests, and leverage that ability into accurate estimation of job duration
  • Display the ability to analyze or troubleshoot issues and implement appropriate solutions
  • Possess the ability to evaluate a variety of factors to accurately ensure that demand for departmental

 

And have:

 

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Microsoft certifications in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • A minimum of three (3) years of related experience working as a word processor at a professional services organization
