About the Role

The Supervisor of Data Management is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for supervising the business intelligence systems team, overseeing the organization's data management strategies and initiatives, while developing and implementing comprehensive data management strategies that align with organizational goals. This role will be located in our Los Angeles office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

 

  • Supervising and mentoring a team of business data engineers; generating performance evaluations and recommending salary increases, working with Human Capital & Talent to recruit, hire, train, coach, and manage the performance of employees
  • Overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of business intelligence systems and processes
  • Working with the Manager of Data Systems Integration to prioritize resources and projects
  • Collaborating with Technology and business stakeholders to identify data needs and deliver solutions that drive business value
  • Managing data-related projects, including timelines, resources, budgets, and deliverables

 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

 

  • Demonstrate an understanding of data structures, database systems, data warehousing, and data modeling
  • Possess knowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
  • Display excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and manage cross-functional projects

 

And have:

 

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in data management, business intelligence, or a related field
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience with supervising teams
