About the Role

The Technology Project Reporting Senior Analyst is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for reporting across large-scale, complex projects spanning multiple Technology & Information Services teams and firm departments, while gathering and analyzing data from various sources across the Technology & Information Services Department to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and assess the performance of projects against their key performance indicators (KPIs). This role will be located in our Global Services Office in Downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Creating comprehensive reports that provide status updates, risk assessments, and progress summaries; reports are tailored to the needs of different stakeholders, ensuring that the information is relevant and actionable
  • Designing and maintaining project dashboards that provide awareness into project and portfolio metrics that report upon project health, resource allocation, and milestone achievements
  • Maintaining project management systems, including workflows, project schedules, and templates to align with reporting requirements
  • Effectively communicating with Technology & Information Services leadership through reporting and dashboards, utilizing data to answer queries, explaining trends and providing recommendations based on their analysis, and translating complex data into understandable insights
  • Continuously working to improve reporting processes and tools, which may involve automating data collection methods, refining reporting templates, or introducing new technologies to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of reports

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in practical problem-solving and robust troubleshooting capabilities
  • Display proficiency in bringing innovation to project reporting practices and staying current with evolving industry standards
  • Possess knowledge of the lifecycle and methodologies for software development technology projects

And have:

  • A High school diploma or equivalent; preferably a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Engineering, Management or a related field
  • Technical certifications in relevant areas, such as Power BI Data Analyst, Google Data Analytics, and IBM Data Analyst, preferably
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in project reporting or related areas
