About the Role

The Recruiting Coordinator is an integral part of Latham’s Global Human Capital & Talent team. This role will be responsible for executing a wide array of transactional recruiting tasks, and assisting in the continual monitoring and maintenance of the centralized task management system, ServiceNow, applying institutional knowledge and critical thinking to validate the accuracy of information, while providing direct, high-touch post-offer recruiting support to candidates and monitoring and maintaining a global, active post-offer candidate tracker ensuring all steps are initiated, completed, and cleared. This role will be located in our New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

 

  • Ensuring an outstanding candidate experience with attentive communication and attention to detail, providing direct, high-touch post-offer recruiting support to candidates, delivering a best-in-class recruiting experience
  • Monitoring and maintaining workflow and quality control within the centralized task management system, ServiceNow, to maximize benefits for the Business Services Recruiting (BSR) team, enabling Latham to hire premier talent
  • Recording, compiling, and analyzing recruiting data under the direction of BSR Operations Leadership, providing the recruiting team and firm leadership with recurring reports detailing a variety of metrics
  • Serving as the first escalation point for any recruiting operations questions from members of the recruiting verticals
  • Training and identifying development and upskilling opportunities for junior team members, providing coaching and guidance when appropriate
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

  • Exhibit the ability to perceive and analyze problems and develop alternative strategies to solve them
  • Display the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus

 

And have:

 

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably 
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a recruiting, staffing, or administrative role
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience with global process coordination, preferably
  • Familiarity with shared services platforms and applicant tracking systems, preferably
