The Senior SharePoint Developer is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for planning, designing, and integrating custom-coded solutions for the SharePoint Online platform, as well as working with and making recommendations to the Development Supervisors, Managers, and Leads regarding the maintenance and enhancement of existing Latham SharePoint solutions. This role will be located in our Downtown Los Angeles office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. 

Other key responsibilities include:

• Working independently to develop and implement comprehensive SharePoint solutions to solve user business requirements, and developing solutions in a professional manner and in accordance with established deliverable schedules and firm procedures
• Developing and implementing new SharePoint customizations for Latham and maintaining existing production solutions, utilizing appropriate technologies (CSOM/JSOM/REST/SPFx)
• Integrating solutions with various internal data sources (SQL/WebAPI/WCF/ASMX web services)
• Participating in consultations with development staff and project analysts regarding system requirements and functionality
• Coding, testing, and debugging application systems per developed specifications and generating prototypes at various stages of development
• Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains 
  

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Display advanced knowledge of SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online
• Possess advanced knowledge of Ajax and JavaScript for building interactive web-based interfaces, with demonstrated use of JavaScript-based UI toolkits
• Demonstrate knowledge of C#, .NET, and ASP.NET, with the ability to design, develop, and debug custom SharePoint web parts

And have:

• A bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field, preferably
• A minimum of six (6) years of SharePoint development experience, preferably client-side coded solutions
• A minimum of three (3) years of C# and ASP.NET experience, preferably
• A minimum of three (3) years of advanced HTML/CSS UI development
• A minimum of two (2) years of advanced Ajax and JavaScript programming experience, preferably
