About the Role

The Lead Practice Support Relativity Trainer is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training sessions on Relativity to attorneys, paralegals, and staff, as well as providing consultative services and assistance on training projects, training outlines, and initiatives as needed. This role will be located in either our Global Services Office in downtown Los Angeles, Chicago office, or Washington D.C. office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Practice Support Services Leadership to identify training needs and develop tailored training materials and approaches
  • Coordinating with case teams and project managers to ensure training aligns with specific case requirements and deadlines
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Relativity features and updates, incorporating new functionalities into training programs
  • Analyzing and providing feedback on AI-generated outputs from Relativity
  • Advising legal teams, internal resources, and third-party service providers on effective database design and workflow to ensure efficient document review and productions
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Display strong expertise in Relativity software, including both administrative and user features
  • Demonstrate proven experience in designing and delivering effective training programs for legal technology applications
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences

And have:

  • An associate’s degree or equivalent, preferably a bachelor’s degree; in lieu of a degree, a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience may be considered
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in electronic discovery consulting and project management
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in litigation support, including data processing and document review platforms
  • Relativity certification, preferably
