Financial Analyst – Pricing

The Financial Analyst – Pricing is an integral part of Latham’s Financial Analysis team. This role will be responsible for driving success towards the firm’s goals and objectives by applying financial, analytical, and business support, while preparing recurring and ad-hoc financial analyses and reports related to client statistics and firm financial metrics.This role will be located in our Global Services Office in Downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Performing profitability scenario analyses to support pricing decisions for firm management
• Collaborating on new engagement opportunities by creating competitive and innovative fee proposals that meet strategic and financial goals
• Maintaining the litigation investment database by inputting key approval information, creating analyses, and designing reports/presentations to display pricing trends
• Making recommendations and working with management to develop procedures, processes, and workflows to ensure maximum efficiency in the litigation investment portfolio
• Developing recurring reports related to client fee monitoring
• Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

• Possess the ability to work independently to research, analyze, and develop financial information

And have:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field
• A minimum of one (1) year of related analytical experience in finance or accounting
• Experience responding to ad-hoc requests, performing analyses, and producing reports, preferably
