About the Role

The Workplace Experience Manager is an integral part of Latham’s Workplace Experience (WE) team. This role will be responsible for the development and execution of strategies and procedures and to deliver a global best-in-class experience for personnel and clients of the firm, whether remote or in-person, while leading and empowering a team to provide top-notch service to our colleagues and clients, and contributing to the strategy and vision of the workplace experience for the office and the team. This role will be located in our Boston office. Please note that this role requires an in-office presence. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with office administration, department managers, and regional leadership to deliver a top-quality, global, client-focused working experience
  • Strategizing, creating, and implementing experience-related guidelines, best practices, and standards with the global WE team
  • Supervising, managing, and motivating, team members, while setting clear team goals and objectives aligned to global vision
  • Promoting effective and collaborative work practices, exhibiting highly professional and ethical standards, and building strong and accountable relations throughout the local office and across the firm
  • Recruiting and training talent, identifying professional development opportunities for the team, and effectively coaching team and individuals to enhance their performance and achieve desired outcomes
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

  • Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations
  • Display the ability to utilize and navigate various technology platforms and applications
  • Possess the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and occasional weekend shifts

And have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree; significant experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of seven (7) years’ hospitality or customer service management experience
  • Hotel management, facility/office management, law firm, or corporate environment experience, preferably
