About the Role

The Structured Notes Platform Analyst is an integral part of Latham’s Legal Professional and Paralegal team. This role will be responsible for supporting the firm’s structured notes platform through legal documentation drafting, process improvement, and deal flow management, while assisting with drafting pricing supplements, fact sheets, and other legal documentation for structured products transactions. This role will be located in our New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with preparing offering and marketing materials for clients' structured notes platforms
  • Helping to maintain the deal flow calendar
  • Supporting best practices and training programs to ensure a comprehensive resource knowledge base
  • Assisting with process improvements and leveraging technology for document automation
  • Coordinating filings with multiple printer companies
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Possess experience drafting issuance documentation for securities or structured products, or complex or non-standard derivatives
  • Demonstrate experience working on structured products and/or derivative transactions
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, both written and verbal, that convey professionalism and responsiveness

And have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting, preferably
  • A minimum of one (1) year of structured note-related experience required with a large financial institution or at a law firm
