About the Role

The WE Senior Analyst - Data & Analytics is an integral part of Latham’s Workplace Experience team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Workplace Experience, Operations, and Real Estate functions within the Global Real Estate department, while performing and presenting analyses related to realtime space occupancy, operational services, labor resources, and cost management. This role will be located in our New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and integrating relevant tools and datasets to support a holistic lifecycle of datainformed workplace strategies
  • Converting analyses into actionable recommendations for stakeholders by leveraging compelling data visualizations and presentations
  • Preparing firmwide expense budgets for multiple accounts and vendor contracts using cost modeling and historical trend analyses
  • Engaging with office teams on training and reporting needs to ensure data fluency and data integrity
  • Supporting special projects as needed
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Possess knowledge of basic general ledger, budgeting, and budget variance analysis
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills needed for all primary duties of the position, including comprehending and communicating data
  • Demonstrate comfort working with large datasets, with an emphasis on consistent and accurate reporting

And have:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • A master’s degree, professional certification, or extended education in a related field, preferably
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in reporting and analysis
  • Relevant experience at a professional services firm or Fortune 500 company
